Before you complete the application, please read the following:
We are currently looking for Warlocks, Tanks and Healers of any size, shape or form to join our raids.
Anyone is welcome to apply to the guild regardless of race, profession, etc. However, take some of these things
into consideration before you hit that ol' submit button...
We are a casual raiding and social guild for all the slackers of Azeroth (on the Skywall server) to have fun,
to chat and to annoy each other (within reason). Most of our members are working adults who don’t
always have time for the grueling raiding schedules of some of the end-game guilds. Mediocrity in Motion
and WoW is our refuge to escape the day-to-day drama of work, family, school, etc. and we want all of our
members to feel comfortable and welcome.
We have raids running just about every night of the week, however, each guildy only runs raids 3-4 nights
a week because we have several different raid groups. Currently, we are running a Zul'Aman team and a
Karazhan team. We aren't about blazing through
content as fast as we can. We will be slow because we enjoy the learning process and we won't be knocking
on Illidan's doorstep anytime soon. We are in the process of balancing our groups, so we're in that
transition phase where we have to do rotations, esp. DPS classes. People will be sitting out for a little bit,
but we will be fair about getting them into Karazhan raids. We are venturing further into Gruul's Lair,
having taken down High King Maulgar already, and are stepping into SSC and TK - but again at a slow and comfortable pace.
When participating in raids of 25 people or more, we utilize DKP. The points are awarded for various
things, currently all associated with raiding the larger instances. You can find more information in our
Wiki.
You can see our full event calendar on our website. We have a great pool
of players to draw from when doing 5-man instances, as well as quests and attunements, and the calendar can be
used to schedule events.
While we do raid, we are a social group first. We do not feel forced to accept anybody just to "fill out
our ranks" for raid groups, and playing a class that we are currently looking for does not mean automatic
admission into the guild. We are looking for members who wish to join us and stay with us as we continue
to work on the higher level instances. Understand that when we run these instances, we are learning them and
there may be days when we wipe 10 times attempting to kill a dungeon boss. And we are ok with that.
We do not want guild-hoppers. So don't apply to us because you are currently waiting to hear back from
some other guild and feel that you need a tag in the meantime, or want to get yourself geared up so you can
get into raiding guilds. We also require you to be unguilded when you apply to us and throughout the
application process, or at the very least notify your current guild-master of your intentions of leaving.
Guilds are an important part of the MMO experience and we wish no ill feelings between MiM and any of the
fine community of Skywall Horde guilds.
There are no requirements for being a member of the guild other than respecting your fellow players
and using common sense. We want to be silly and have fun but we want this to be a pleasant group for all
of our members to be a part of. If you find that something you are doing is bothering a fellow guild mate,
please stop. Even though we like to be silly and have fun, we do like for our guild members to be able to
show a certain level of maturity.
We try to keep our guild chat as PG-rated as possible so that no one is offended but we do sometimes
discuss mature topics and would like to request that applicants be at least 16 years old (some exceptions
will be made with proper consideration from the Mediocracy).
